Okay folks, it's a bit too much
when the line gives you 3 days at
sea to know your way around a ship. It reminds of Lightoller from the RMS TITANIC, he said it
took him 3 days to find his way
around the ship. It's a disaster
waiting to happen. I think it's time the cruise lines think smaller again.

There are alot of lines and vessels that give you several days at sea to explore and enjoy the ship.

I've seen the Eastern/Western and Southern Caribbean ports numerous times and I'd be more than happy to go on a large vessel that did nothing but circles in the ocean. Sometimes I go for the relaxation of the ship, the warm sunshine and what the ship has to offer ...not necessarily the destination. I'm sailing in less than two weeks on the Triumph and one of the reasons I chose her was her 3 1/2 days at sea.

Different strokes for different folks!

I absolutely agree that now there seems to be something for everyone. I cruised the Majesty and the Monarch of the Seas and enjoyed both, but after our cruise on the R1 this year I've decided that for my taste, that's the perfect size ship!

Mr. Dambrosi> I live in Ocala Fl. I too love the SS OCEANIC, its good to see someone else appreciate this ship. we have been on 3 times already. we are booked for this dec 17 for 3 days. usually we can get a "c" or "D" level room within 60 days of sailing. it appears the line is increasing thier business. this time there was no c or d left. my agent gave me a "B" level suite for just 400 pp complete. I'v been on 3 carnival ships and like big reds food, service and people alot better. maybe someday we will meet on board. we are in early 50's and try to cruise at least twice a year. Feel free to e-mail me direct. i don't stay on this site too long. STEVE
