Great video Barryboat i went on Pride of America in 2006 when i was 19 years old i enjoyed to trip wish i was sobber most of it so i could have rememebered more of the ship lol

Thanks Jake! Looks like you were on the POA near the beginning of her career in Hawaii. I think the fact that POA is the only "major" U.S. Registered cruise ships in the entire cruise industry makes her very unique.

Great video, Barry. Can't wait to see the episodes to follow.

I got the chance to sail on her as a Deck Cadet for 2 months. Got to meet the great people behind the scenes that makes this ship special.

Good job Barry.

I’ve worked with video myself and I know that you are doing a very professional job. It is not as easy as it looks. Your presenting skills, use of music, titles and editing is first class. I do find the commercials a bit tedious, but I appreciate why they are there.

I’m very impressed that the Captain let you play on his bridge!

I do fancy an Hawaii cruise and I really like the fact that POA is a unique ship. However Hawaii is such a long way away from the UK (two long flights) the cost of the airfare would more than double the cost of the cruise.

Barry,what's next? How about Tahiti? If you liked Hawaii ,Tahiti and the Cook Islands are even more beautiful and mystical. BoraBora and Huahuine are my favorites.
A Luau on a Motu is not to be missed.

Thanks Frosty 4 for the suggestion. Yes, I'd like to cruise Tahiti, and Australia, New Zealand. There are so many great cruise destinations I am working on. Finally, I have completed Part FOUR and the final video of our Hawaii cruise aboard the Pride of America. In this video you'll see the USS MISSOURI and Pearl Harbor. Also, I did a video walk-thru of the SS AMERICA Library onboard the Pride of America, with a good shot of the model at the entrance. I hope you enjoy Part Four!
