This seems to work.. the ships alongside in Southampton from the Public & Cracknore Hards in Marchwood. To see the proper image click on the photo.

QM2 was not visible from here being at the QEII Terminal but 2 of her tenders [12 & 17] were on the hard at Cracknore. She sailed without them, an empty slot either side. I imagine they have just been left behind for a service while she does a couple of transats?

Indeed, such wonderful albums, Pam. I couldn't bring them up on my new iPhone for some reason so I had to wait until I got off work last night, then CT was done for several hours.

Thank you for the great pictures, the memories are flooding back right now lol

I cannot begin to count the number of times I launched my laser from that area of Calshot to sail out to get a good view of the QE2 and Canberra leaving Southampton water.
