Who finds that Mozilla and Google Chrome are a bit faster than Internet Explorer but time out and crash and time out more often, especially with data heavy sites? Safari is not a happy camper on a Windows platform. In other words Explorer is more stable but slower to upload.

Any thoughts?

ME!! I had both Chrome and Mozilla and they were always crashing on me after I used them for a while. IE on the other hand is the not thee slowest but definitely not the fastest but it is the most consistent and I have never had any major problems with it and thats why I use it instead of Chrome and Mozilla. Chrome has some cool features though, my favorite is Cooloris. (however you spell it ; )

I find that on OSX, i don't want to use anything other than Safari >_<

I have used them all and given the differences I personally prefer what Chrome has to offer with all of the cool extensions.

I have also had no real problems with IE on a PC, but endless difficulties using Safari and Firefox, particularly when I have had to borrow others' Macs but also with Firefox running on PCs. These browsers simply don't work properly with many websites, making tracts of the web inaccessible until I can get back to a PC running IE.

Also, IE6 is generally better than IE8, which has all sorts of unexpected quirks and which stalls and crashes more often. But one irritating thing is the number of websites which now completely refuse to deliver to IE6, despite the fact that this is still the standard browser in most corporate installations, including business centres and the like for people on the move.
