Hawaii 5 - 0 is my new favorite show. Mondays episode was about a serial killer who traveled from island to island on a cruise ship. The interiors looked like a set or soundstage. The corridors or hallways seemed to wide and the rooms too big but there were aeriel shots of the ship. She seemed rather small and I noticed no logo on the funnel. Anyone see the show? I'm curious if the shot of the ship was real or what ship it may have been. If you have Comcast the show is available on demand.

Hawaii 5-0 is also my new favorite show. I liked the original series when I was a kid but I love this new version. For those who haven't seen it yet, here in the US it is on CBS on Monday nights, 10:00 pm (EST). Keeping the original series introduction song (with a bit of an update) was a great idea. Too many shows now have completely done away with the intro songs which is sad. Imagine Love Boat with out the song...or Gilligan's Isand. Who knows, maybe the trend will change back.
And boy is there a lots of eye-candy on this show! Truly something for everyone!
The ship in overhead shots at the pier on last nights episode looked like one of the original Royal Viking trio with her funnel photo-shopped to be just a white stack without a logo. The shots of the side of the ship taken at pier level were probably of the Pride of America, since she is in Honolulu (where the series is filmed) each weekend but that is only a guess as I just could not see enough to decide. The interior scenes (which were quite beautiful) were probably one of the local resort hotels which would have been a lot cheaper to film than to build sets. It looked like the mast which could be seen through the large glass interior windows was also photo shopped in as well. Overall it looked very believable considering how resort-like most of the new cruise ships interiors are now.
