A team of physicists from the US and Austria (Ernst?) have reported that time travel is possible but time travelers cannot change the present by traveling to the past.

If you went back in time and met your teenage parents, you could not split them up and prevent your birth - even if you wanted to, a new quantum model has stated.

Researchers speculate that time travel can occur within a kind of feedback loop where backwards movement is possible, but only in a way that is "complementary" to the present.

In other words, you can pop back in time and have a look around, but you cannot do anything that will alter the present you left behind.

The new model, which uses the laws of quantum mechanics, gets rid of the famous paradox surrounding time travel.

These scientists have only speculated that a destructive paradox might not occur, and they may or may not be correct since the theory cannot be tested at this time.

So it's a bit like History (at school something I was never interested in), you can look at it, can't change it but, hopefully, might just learn something from it

I loved history at school. But wouldn't not be nice to pop up a/b the Britannia at here maiden to Boston or a/b the first Rotterdam. Then go to the Normandie, Nieuw Amsterdam.

If it is possible pop up fore Hitler slap his face and disappear by pouching some button. It would not be chancing history but would it be lovely.
