The Floatout Ceremony
Pam
Its going to be located near spa on deck 11 so you can go and roll over in the real snow after sauna. For information it is in finnish tradition to go after/between sauna outside and roll in the snow in winter times. And belive it or not its really fun and not that bad at all
The new vessel is unique – not only due to the attention paid to design and environmental issues. One of the elements also enhancing an unprecedented cruising experience lies just past the cabin doors. The cabin’s typical image will be completely re-defined. New cabin categories and four exclusive suites The new vessel features cabin categories that are revolutionary in their high standards. Seaside cabins are large windowed and feature a sea view. Inside cabins are located on the opposite side of the corridor. One pleasant innovation for families with children is the family cabin: a two-cabin combo connecting a double-bedded cabin to a four-bed cabin. The vessel also offers many cabins specially adapted for people with allergies or limited mobility. All four exclusive suites offer individually customized designs and are located at the front of the vessel. These cabins were conceived by leading Finnish interior design company dSign Vertti Kivi & Co, who are also responsible for the interior design of the vessel’s public spaces. The exclusive line-up features: FLOW – a trendy, fresh and youthful suite with a relaxed atmosphere. ORGANIC – a suite that offers a calm, harmonic ambience, green elements and its own sauna. ROMANTIC – the perfect suite for a couple celebrating their anniversary. HI-TECH – a hyper-modern suite with clean designs, a Hi-Fi touch and its own jacuzzi.

Unfortunately STX Turku is in deep troubles and possible losing the TUI orders.
quote:Originally posted by Mattsudds:Regarding the TUI order, isn't Mein Schiff 3 is already under construction? I thought they were starting Mein Schiff 4 in a couple do months time.
Yes, but the funding is not solved. If they cant manage the funding they will need to stop the constructions. This means ships will not be build in Finland.
Obviously main owner (STX) is not putting any efforts to develop the Finnish yards. Finnish government _might_ be interested to take part of the ownership only if STX would not have part of the new venture.
