Are there any pictures yet of the new ISHIKARI? Is the older KITAKAMI (1989) also being replaced with a new vessel?
It will be interesting to see who will buy the old ISHIKARI. I'm sure that it could be an nice vessel for a Greek operator...

Taiheiyo Ferry provide daily overnight ferry service between Tomakomai and Sendai with three ferries in regular season but the sector between Sendai and Nagoya, Ferries depart from Sendai or Nagoya every other day.
Kitakami refurbished in 2005, she is employed to sail between Tomakomai and Nagoya with stop at Sendai but following inuguration of (New) Ishikari, Kitakami is scheduled to serve the route between Tomakomai and Sendai only in place of current Kiso's sailing schedule.Both (New) Ishikari and Kiso will run from Tomakomai and Nagoya via Sendai.
