here´s the artists impression of how the new ship will look like

click picture

I think it looks very nice. And I know that some of you will say they are copying NCL, but who cares? the ship is beautiful and thats all that matters.

Is this the 1361? She looks great. I love Tallink's new ferries. Dairylea [aka Galaxy] 'grew' on me, Star was always nice, but not Superstar, I don't like her colours.

This one looks good too thanks for the preview. One day I may get to actually sail on one.

It looks a bit like OCEAN VILLAGE to me. Not sure why but it does at first glance.

It makes me think to Pride of America hull art... But it looks better anyway than the one with the blue sky and clouds.

Tallink want their ships to stand out - they certainly do that. Do Finn yards or others have any definite information about when this vessel will enter service? WIth all the other late running Aker Ferries, I'm wondering if she is on time.

I think it was meant to be coming in service in may but few days ago there were article about Tallink and thay said Tallink can´t get the new vessel in the service before july. Thay are gonna miss the whole june which is the best month in the year. Cruise 4 is going to the Helsinki -Tallinn route and Galaxy is transferring to Turku - Stockholm. The festival is now in the Turku - Stockholm service but Galaxy would have been so much better and bigger and would have attracted more passengers than old and tired Festival.

smile...you were just before me here...heard already in September Galaxy was going to sail on Stockholm - Turku to replace Silja Festival.
Her sister ship the Color Festival has just been replaced by old guard but far more larger Prinsesse Ragnhild here in Oslo. Apparantly she's off to the Med soon.

Talink has always been very unpredictable concerning names. Else the next one could perhaps be Baltic Queen!
