There is some mention of Fincantieri's pitch for the QM2 project and altogether 718 illustrations over 320 pages. I loved the one of cars driving through Mauretania's funnels for instance. This book is very strictly limited edition, 320 pages, numbered edition, translated into English by Anthony Cooke. He mentioned it on the list some weeks ago but one truly must see this book to appreciate it. If you can find it and are remotely interested in Fincantieri, Queen Elizabeth and all things in between, do whatever you can to get a copy. Truly wonderful.
If you can find it on-line, the going price seems to be £69.95 in the UK, and around $100 in the U.S.
