Hello all!

I thought would be nice if you guys will see my latest model, just finnished. its 1/700 Moderat newe kit of Revell....
As one that built their 1/400 kit I can say that this 1/700 is also nicely detailed and the mouldes are very similar just smaller...brakedown of parts such as decks, deckhouses and bulkheads are very similar between the two kits...

here are some pics

I am now willing to built another 1/400 QM2 model. The previous one I built 5 years ago without the skills and tools i have today. So I used this pictures 1/700 model as a prototype for the bigger one.

Great job on the detailing and painting. I still have to build mine. I'm hoping I can get started this winter.

Nice job! Thanks a great scale.

Mine will have to wait: I have about 8 liner models to build and there never seems to be enough time.

I've been contemplating starting on my 5ft. paper model of the Bremen of 1930........but it has over 5,000 pieces which makes it very intimidating!

You are not kidding Rich, I've got about 4 of them; back in the late 80's or early 90's I started cutting on the BIG U and never finished, I'm so ashamed.
