I haven't been able to find much news about the Grand Celebration but I here she has broken down at sea last night and was overbooking guest in Cabins. It's like they want to fail, the website lists many fully booked nights.

One of her sister ships which is now owned by the Greek owners of most of the UK operated CMV Cruises ships and named ' Magellan ' has just had a two week dry dock in Amsterdan , with their 1965 built classic cruise ship ' Marco Polo ' in an adjoining dry dock ! The very smart looking ' Megellan ', with her winged funnel, along with their other classic cruise ships are drydocked and upgraded every year ! Seems they obviously do a better job of looking after their classic cruise ships than the company operating the ' Celbration '. The ' Magellan ' is now on a 15 night Christmas cruise and then sails from the UK on the 5th January 2017 on a 120 day around the world cruise !

Lets hope they do sort Grand Celebration. She was built alongside Jubilee which is being scrapped in China.
Magellan was built as Holiday in Aalborg which gave her a rapturous welcome.
Magellan amazing funnel may not allow her to sail the Kiel canal, but she now offers fabulous long cruises.
Lets hope Columbus wil do Kiel as her funnel is shorter!
