Having been laid up in the UK Tilbury Docks and advertised for sale for the past two years, having last been used as a hotel ship for the London Olympic games, I can see nothing wrong with her being used for the same purpose again !
With the time she has been laid up it should be very obvious that not many companies are interested in buying a small spanish built cruise ship which is now 22 years old..
Still she would make a nice addition for the right niche players or maybe perfect for Fred. if they were not in such dire straights losing so much money from their current operations. Fred. could do her up as a sister ship which would be a nice match but I suspect they have bigger problems to solve to turn around the current losses at the passenger business.
I was wondering if the date 16 August was just a bit of a play by the crew as that would be 2 years exactly since she arrived back from the Olympic games charter. She's not going to get there for 2 days ago anyway
I doubt there are any photos of her departure about?

She was advertised as operating a voyage for the world cup football matches and that failed to happen.
She is advertised on a russian website as operating cruises while in use as a hotel ship in the scottish islands and now this retirement home type voyage to Australia.
Besides her asking price of about UK £ 45 million which is high for small 1990's built cruise ship, I have seen a report that she needs over £ 10 million of updating to meet all the new polution regulations and other work to be fully operational.
Do not think I would be interested ! .
Due to work required on the quayside at Lewick she sailed about 06.30 hrs on the 3rd October 2014 and having gone round Sunburgh Head she moored in the harbour at Scolloway about 11.00 hrs on the 4th October 2014.
She is thought to be one of the largest ships to visit this port. .

The accommodation ship Gemini, currently berthed at Dales Voe north of Lerwick, is shortly to be moved to Scalloway for the winter.
The vessel, which houses up to 600 Shetland Gas Plant workers from Petrofac, will be berthed along the South Quay at Blacksness Pier. She will join the barge Bibby Challenge, which is occupied by around 300 BP staff, in the village.
According to the SIC, which runs Scalloway Harbour, it will be a more sheltered berth, offering more protection for the vessel and for residents in poor weather. The Gemini would be moved as soon as a suitable weather window becomes available.
The Gemini will be the largest vessel to enter Scalloway Harbour, with an overall length of 164 metres and beam of 22 metres. The harbour entrance was dredged in 2013 to a depth of 8.7 metres to straighten the approach for larger vessels and the South Quay has an available depth of 6.5 metres.
SIC director of infrastructure services Maggie Sandison said: “It is welcome news that a vessel of this size is now able to berth in Scalloway harbour.
“These workers will add to those already now based in Scalloway and we are in discussions with Petrofac and local agencies on how to ensure that the community can best absorb these extra numbers with minimal impact.”
