Anyone know what the Gemini is up to these days? She must be chartered out to someone. Here she is last summer in London for the Olympics with her former sister, now the Braemar

A great little ship that I sailed on Nov 2010 from Cozumel to Havana, Cuba with the all-inclusive Spanish cruise line Happy Cruises. What a pity these little specialty cruise lines can't compete with these crap monster mainstream cruise lines.

Poor GEMINI seems to be in the middle of a tug of war - yet still sits there in Tilbury

The links in above post are to "Cruise Retirement" who state "Our proposed launch of the first vessel will commence around March, 2014."

Then there is Royal Caravella who show itineraries from July. [The same company who were going to be sailing Princess Danae as Astoria last year].

Also she is/was believed to be in the running for Royal Asian Cruises - but I have seen no more on that.

I don't care who wins the war as long as she sails.

Interesting information Pam, thank you for sharing. If confirmed, it will be the third ship here for the World Cup. MSC Divina and Pullmantur's Monarch are the other two.
