I swear she was on the webcam just the other day and now I can't see her. Did she move or head for the breakers?

I WAS ON MELODY OCT5 SAILING OUT OF GENOVA AND I CAN CONFIRM SHE WAS STILL THERE OCT 16 WHEN WE RETURNED SHE IS HIDDEN AWAY NEAR AQUARIUM LIFEBOATS ARE STORED ON REAR LIDO DECK MY COUSIN WHO LIVES IN GENOVA TELLS ME THERE WAS AN ATTEMPT TO SELL HER BUT THE ONLY INTEREST IS FROM ALANG DOESNT LOOK TOO HEEALTHY I TOOK SOME PICS WHEN I FIGURE OUT HOW TO POST I WILL PUT UP

Now back around the corner, you can see her on this port webcam [well you could until a drop of rain covered her over, but that will clear eventually], and shows on the interactive map.

I am afraid her window of opportunity is gone. Gerry Herrod worked heroics with the Island Princess, but do not see him plunking $10mil scrap value, and $40mil renovation for a ship with no ability for balcony cabins, and an antiquated hotel system. Even if he duplicated the Discovery itinerary and format, there may not be enough demand. I happen to like the LoveBoats, but a cruiser looking for a relaxing vacation would want a more modern ship.

Thanks Pam for the link. Hope you can post your pictures Claudio. Shame David that no none in south Florida would invest in her for 2- and 3- night cruises to Freeport and Nassau. I wonder if she would sell well out of FLL with all the old Princess cruise ship lovers around?

They are trying to sell here by one new auction, the price will be $2,7 million euros. Someone interested?

THANKS Daniel for the update. I wonder if she'll end up as a casino ship somewhere out of China or on the beaches of Alang in the next year?

It's hard to say...
But her's mecanical part is not ok, and that's the third auction to sell her...
I think that her destiny is really the breakers. Anyway, her's interior is in good state. There's a video here.
