One highlight of my recent ALLURE OF THE SEAS cruise was seeing DISNEY DREAM in Nassau. The ship looks awesome and I can't wait to sail on her! Attached are some pics of the Aqua Coaster and the gangway ... which highlight that great Disney attention to detail.

Yes, very impressive yacht. I love the NCL "white ship" style funnels.

I assume this yacht is rather old, perhaps from the 60's or 70's? None the less it has beautiful lines, and is certainly as big as some small cruise ships!

Absolutely stunning I think the best so far. Disney Dream is fabulous and the whole ship showed quality and elegance.

Off topic the Royal yacht no wonder that ther subjects are protesting......

Greetings Ben.

"Prince Abdul Aziz" was built in '84 in Denmark.

Great images. Disney Dream looks far better (great looking in fact) from the starboard side where the cool water coaster is'nt that noticable.

DISNEY DREAM is truly a stunning ship. She had a real presence about her while pulling into Nassau. I was mesmerized watching her dock.

Remove the Aqua Coaster plus the Disney details on the hull, and change out the funnel logo and I think you have a ship that Cunard traditionalists would adore. She is a modern day interpretation of a classic ocean liner, exactly what Disney wanted. Sure beats a Vista! If only Cunard could have done the same with QE and QV.

Yes, she was build at Elsinore shipyard which was closed short time after finishing the Abdul Aziz.

Great photos. I think Disney has the best looking ships from the exterior. Love the lines and entire look of the ship.

Exactly. How many modern ships will make you stop and study their lovely lines? I felt the same way w/many older ships that had personality but hardly give the average newer boxboat a second glance.

In comparison, the Disney ships fabulous exterior design invite you to stop and admire it.

So true. In fact how many ships can you say that about today? Well to be fair NORWEGIAN EPIC stops people in their tracks but only because she is so damn ugly! Lol.

Seriously the decks of ALLURE were lined as DISNEY DREAM pulled in. Lots of admiration and overheard comments that people wanted to sail on her next. Funny you didn't hear that about CARNIVAL FANTASY also docked in Nassau. Lol.

I truly think even the average cruiser appreciates a great looking ship, and would rather sail on something beautiful as opposed to ugly. People like to feel proud about their choice of vessel.
