It would be nice if they finished adding webcams to the rest of their fleet. VOTS cam is terrible.

I thought that Radiance was to be dry docked in April 2012 prior to her Alaska season. Does anyone know if this is still scheduled?

Aren't ships supposed to be dry docked every 2 to 3 years? Oasis and Allure will be going about 4 to 5 years according to this...

Yes, while it is quite possible OASIS and ALLURE could be dry docked when listed here, unless there has been some change in class regulations they cannot be the dates for those ships' first dry dock periods. As each is around the fifth birthday of the ship they are around the time that each ship should be getting its second one. Ships have to be dry docked twice every five years.

Radiance will get a "Royal Advantage" refit prior to her Alaska season this year. This is from the RCI website:

"In 2011, experience the Royal AdvantageSM when Royal Caribbean expands our most popular innovations to selected ships, giving more to see, more to do and more to love – to more guests than ever before. On Radiance of the Seas, there will be more to taste, savour and share as an array of dining options arrive on board in summer 2011. Other enhancements include a nursery, Diamond Lounge and television upgrades.

After enhancement, guests will experience the beauty of soaring taiga forests, cascading waterfalls and rolling tundra as Radiance of the Seas sails from Seward to other beautiful Alaskan ports including Juneau and Skagway."

I thought the requirement was 5 years. The Freedom of the Seas is scheduled for March of this year which is 2 months short of being 5 years since her launch. The Liberty of the Seas is going in right now at the age of only about 3.5 years old and RCCL just posted on their blog about how that is really early for a ship so new.
