Certainly one of the best looking ships built in recent years.

Query given French merchant ships are normally female why Le Boreal instead of La ? Although I also note it is Le Ponent.....

French ships are usually male in fact. SS France is often labelled as "Le France" for exemple...

But Normandie was always "La Normandie"

Obviously French merchant ships are transgender ! Thus they should be Les.

I have to say, unlike so many of the ships built recently, in my mind and visually Le Boreal is most definately a Lady (La)......

Amazing how the entire decor is white/black/gray/red...every cabin, hall, public room, and deck furnishing. I really like the ship and design, but a little bit more variety might have been nice.

My favorite feature...the aft marina deck at the waterline. I'd love to see a Solstice-class ship incorporate this into the ducktail.

this is the true successor for the high end cruising of the fifties like the Caronia etc, N.Epic and the others, are different in spirit
