It is a weapon of mass distraction. I believe all drugs should be either medicalized or regulated. The international war on drugs has only raised the black market price which increases street crime as addicts need more and are stigmatized as criminals if seeking treatment.
The idea of stopping all illegal drugs is as effective as BP cleaning up all of the oil spilled in the Gulf of Mexico.
It is time that crime efforts go to stopping violent and white collar criminals.
