Well the Veendam is in Bermuda for her third trip this week, and I wonder if she will be able to anchor off St. George's and tender in. She has gone straight to Hamilton the first two trips as the weather / sea conditions precluded the tendering. The Bermudian Government has given all the passengers a free day pass on the buses and ferries to get to St. George's on the first two trips. It will be interesting to see how the tendering does go off when it finally happens.

On another cruise forum, a passenger is blogging daily from the ship and this morning at 7:34am he posted

"We did wake up this morning achoring at St. George."

wow Diane,
I read his review of the tendering process, and it looks like they have a lot to get worked out.. Maybe just going straight to Hamilton is the better option.

I just finished reading his review also, and they sure do have a lot to get worked out. I don't understand why they don't just dock in Hamilton and paxs who want to go to St. George can take the bus. It would be so much easier.
