Unfortunately I have not been able to find an updated deck plan to show where these new venues will be.

Typical in that the decor follows suit with the Solstice Class design, which is extremely well received and now a Celebrity signature style.
I would say no more typical then any newbuild we see come out from Princess, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, etc. which all follow suit to the style the brand has previously established.

I have a quick question. Is Celebrity "Solcsitizing" the whole fleet?
The only thing that I miss with the Millie class is a proper prom deck, other than that they are stunning ships to vacation on.
The Royal Suites are IMHO the best value suites at sea.

I think they've said they will 'Solsticize' all of the M-class ships. That only leaves Mercury & Century. I don't think they will do anything with Century because it's not that long since she had a huge (and hugely expensive) refit. As regards Mercury, the usual rumours are swirling around as to how long she will remain a Celebrity ship.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see lots of brown. I see some darker colors but not brown.
If it's brown you want, then check out pics of QUEEN VICTORIA. Probably the most "brown" ship I have ever sailed. Even so, she was still quite beautiful in a Cunard sort of way.

Hey Mike,I have read the changes in location will be as follows:1. The Conservatory becomes Tuscan Grill2. Bistro on Five & Cellar Masters are added where the current Martini Bar and Champagne are located. The opening below to the Rendezvous Lounge will be sealed.3. The new Martini Bar will be placed where Celebrity Online exists now, in that circular area.4. Cova Cafe will be replaced by Cafe al Bacio and the Gelateria.
To my knowledge the observation lounge will stay and observation lounge, but will be restyled like the one on the Solstice Class.
What is interesting is that the area around Michael's Club seems to be staying the same. I always thought there was a lot of wasted space around there. The Thero-pool is also staying but again will be restyled.
All cabins and suites are being upgraded and restyled as well, including the addition of flat panel TV's.
Personally I have always loved the Celebrity Suites. No balcony but that beautiful, round glass wall overlooking the sea. Stunning.
These will be like new ships when completed.

Hi to all.
Just to say that the Mercury will be transferred to TUI next year and will have the same type of refit as the Galaxy had.An official announcement should come soon.

Retooling the Conservatory as an extra-tariff restaurant is no doubt the smartest move here, at least from a revenue standpoint. It was a beautiful room before, but essentially devoid of people the vast majority of the time. Now there will be a new space for passengers to enjoy and spend money while doing it.

Agreed, also the decor in this area was always IMO a bit twee. Those trees painted on the walls.

Following an ambitious 15-day drydock and revitalization period, Celebrity Constellation now boasts some of the most popular venues found on the line's widely-heralded Solstice Class ships, including the tantalizing Tuscan Grille steakhouse; the vibrant creperie, Bistro on Five; a "cool" new ice-topped Martini Bar; the inviting Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria; Cellarmasters wine bar, complete with the state-of-the-art wine serving systems known as "Enomatics," allowing guests to select and serve wines by the glass, at the touch of a button; more sumptuous suites, with all new furniture, flat-screen TVs, upholstery, bedding and carpeting; restyled staterooms, with entirely new carpeting, flat-screen TVs, upholstery and bedding; and new color schemes, carpeting and upholstery reflective of the Solstice Class' stylish, modern design in every public venue.
"Our newly Solsticized Celebrity Constellation is a significant outgrowth of our 'Designed for you' brand platform, built around our longtime commitment to identifying and designing what our guests want," said Celebrity's President & CEO Dan Hanrahan. "By adding Solstice Class features that we know our guests love to our already award-winning Millennium Class ships - with the impeccable service our spectacular crew delivers across the entire fleet - we're confident we have a winning combination, expressly designed for discerning cruisers."
Celebrity Constellation is the first of the line's four Millennium-class ships to be "Solsticized." Celebrity Infinity and Celebrity Summit will be similarly refurbished in 2011, followed by Celebrity Millennium in 2012.
The revitalization is only part of Celebrity's Designed for you platform, which - when combined with the brand's Celebrity Life onboard experiences, more robust Captain's Club loyalty program, and other brand enhancements - represents a nearly $200-million investment.
Following her current 7-night cruise through the breathtaking Norwegian Fjords, Celebrity Constellation will present a series of 12-night Scandinavia and Russia cruises, followed by an 8-night Northern Europe and Mediterranean cruise from Amsterdam to Barcelona, where the ship will present a series of roundtrip, 7-night Mediterranean sailings, before a 14-night transatlantic voyage departing Barcelona November 6, ending in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. There, Celebrity Constellation will present two consecutive 14-night Exotic Caribbean cruises, prior to embarking on a 15-night Panama Canal voyage from Fort Lauderdale to San Diego on December 18.
Celebrity Cruises is designed for discerning cruisers, with modern, sophisticated environments, impeccable service, enriching and inspiring onboard programs, and world-class cuisine. The ultimate in premium cruising, Celebrity sails in Alaska, Bermuda, California, Canada/New England, the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, the Pacific Coast, Panama Canal, South America, and year-round in the Galapagos Islands. Celebrity also offers immersive cruisetour experiences in Alaska, Canada, Europe and South America. Celebrity's mega-series of honors include being named the top mega-ship line in Conde Nast Traveler's annual Readers' Choice Awards (November 2009). Celebrity's fleet currently consists of 10 ships. Its $3.7-billion investment in building five stylish Solstice Class ships between 2008-2012 represents the largest newbuild commitment for a single brand in industry history. I would say yes.
According to Celebrity's press release, no public area went untouched.
