Arinson is all about balconies and making money. That has been apparent since the building of the Queen Mary 2. You can't have a ship without balconies...

I think thats the norm with all the cruise lines
In reality allot of cruise ship cabins on ships like them are quite substandard and inferior to land based hotels, so cruise ships have to offer more to make them more appealing.
Some of the best 5 star hotel rooms around the world do not have a balcony, but they have bathrooms literally bigger than a standard cruise ship cabin. Allot of hotel rooms have allot more facilities and higher quality fixtures and fittings than most cruise ships I have been on.
