I've found 2010 info on HAL ship visits to the Netherlands next year. It seems MS Rotterdam will not come to our country next year. Prinsendam, Eurodam and Maasdam go to Amsterdam. Westerdam will do a series of visits to Rotterdam.

The Rotterdam will be sailing Alaska in 2010 for the first time. The Nieuw Amsterdam will also debut in Europe in mid-summer 2010.

With Westerdam and Noordam arriving in South Africa next year in June and departing July there may be some really interesting repositioning voyages available - has anyone seen any info on these ? Nothing on HAL website for these dates.

It would be interesting the reposition cruise from South Africa It look as if this cruise will ends in Rotterdam.

Strange the cruises in June and July are not showing. Only the series of cruises starting on July 26 from Rotterdam with departing dates on 2-8, 14-8, 26-8, 7-9.

Is she under charter?

With the recent news that Nieuw Amsterdam will be completed early, perhaps in a week or so we'll see her schedule for the earlier sailings and if Rotterdam will be a port of call.

Website is showing blanks for both ships, they surely would not be sailing empty all the way here and again back.

Not clear what the arrangements are whilst here or if they are actually under charter, I believe Noordam will sail Durban - Cape Town and back (3/4 days) and Westerdam will be sailing Durban - Port Elizabeth and back (2/3 days).

From what I see in the Holland America Cruise Planner she will not come to us. She'll be sailing Mediterenian cruises from Venice
