The forward facade doesn't look as bad as it will once they start stacking decks above the bridge, one as it is now looks fine. I'm now concerned about how the circulation turns out in a very bad layout, but we'll see.

Interesting to note that she is another non podded ship. Is the trend now to move away from pods?

Why does it look like the back of the ship has a giant shelf? It's way to big for a duck tail since it hasn't even received the last section and yet the decks on top are already stopped before this current end point.

The exterior of the ship is hideous but NCL is really coming up with some pretty cool concepts (even if they do cost extra). This is the only ship I can think of that will give OASIS OF THE SEAS and the Voyager/Freedom Class a run for their money. Certainly not CARNIVAL DREAM. Anyway, I'm booking EPIC. Of course on this cruise I will plan to spend a bit extra compared to most others (so many extra charges). I think I would like a Spa Balcony cabin.

In 3/4 bow view she looks alot like MSC Fantasia which is a good thing IMO. As the superstructure grows, she will lose her looks.

Check out ncl.com for a full 360 spin of the ship.

Her exterior looks are growing on me. In fact, other than the villa decks (and slightly odd funnel design) her hull is quite attractive. The stern is straight sheer but we have to expect that these days.

It appears that the naval architects have made a conscious effort to keep 90% of the top deck space open for passenger use (rather than machinery space).

I'm with Ernie... I think Epic will be the only other ship that really gives the Voyager, Freedom, Oasis class a run for the money.

Say what you will about NCL (it has its warts), they once again bring some real innovation to the industry... along with RCI.

I'd gladly sail the Epic.

I looked at the 360 thing on the site and amazingly the duck tail really is a giant shelf with a flat end so that is in fact the last piece of the hull.

Its growing on me too! I'm really surprised when F3 was first announced, and first renderings were leaked, I was really shocked. Now that all the features has been revealed and her exterior can be examined at different angles, she is going to be something special.
