Nice job. Once upon a time, when I was a kid, I used to draw ships ... lots of ships ... then I realized I was crap at it and stopped. :-/

Most of my ships looked like 1950s-1960s era ships though, especially Italian. My tastes have not changed much since.

To me this mostly looks like ORIANA shrunken down to ROYAL PRINCESS (ARTEMIS) size or so, which is a ship I would not mind sailing in at all (a smaller ORIANA that is).

But there is no reason for your lifeboat-tenders to take up three decks in height. And why does it say P&O Cruises twice on each side? The fact that QM2 says Cunard twice on each side of the ship annoys the hell out of me, almost as much as the needless '2' on the name.

Re the tenders perhaps they are two decks high so due to their height they would need more space for stowing them !

everything went though many stages of design, for practicality and functionality. the 2 (4) main tenders use 3 decks to allow the promenade rooms to have a sea view, which is lost on some ships. The ship is roughly the size of the Artemis, correct, but she is currently in for a lengthening job (about 2 (4) more lifeboats worth). the P&O cruises twice is actually funny, i was drawing the hull (below the prom) based on the Oceana, which has the logo in the kitchen section... and i drew the prom & above based on the oriana, which has the same logo but on the front!

Tom, your killing me, I have been out off contact with the world for 10 days, I come home and find this !

Not that the drawing is bad, though the bow to right behind the bridge does remind me of the Viking Serenade, it's that I am just waiting for P&O to bring back the name, which will happen at some point and it is bound to be a complete disaster...At least on here.

When I was young I would draw ships endlessly - more or less putting off homework. haha

I was constantly trying to draw a "new" or "innovative" Royal Caribbean ship but all of my drawings just kept looking like their original three ships with perhaps only one variation. I loved the original ships so much I was hopelessly dreaming that they would launch a similar hull but just with more innovation.

For example I would "redesign" the Sun Viking for her size but just have the Viking Crown Lounge face forward versus aft, etc. with the staircase leading down to the pool deck.

Kudos for a wonderful drawing, I have no qualms on how it came out. You just did a great job.
