Now is a new season on the way....I start whit a * old * picture of Artemis on her way to Olden early morning in august 2007...do anyone remember why her hull looks like this? ( i have the answer )

I don't know, Galaxy, but we are booked to visit the fjords on Black Watch in August & I am looking forward to it.

The only time that I have seen Artemis, was last year while on QE2, about to leave for the final British Isles cruise. Artemis passed QE2 in Southampton & there was a good whistle exchange.

Hello Galaxy,

I will be in Olden on 5 July, on Celebrity Century.

Can you send me information (time table) about the local bus to Briksdalen Glacier ?

I was told you can go there by local bus, but have to watch the returntime very carefully as there should be only one bus running.

She looks like this after bad weather at Greenland and Iceland most of the ports there was cancelled,Ålesund was the first port after many days at sea in bad weater

When I was on the Eurodam last February we were docked next to her in Grand Turk and her shabby state was very noticeable to everybody. I used to work on her 20 years ago as Royal Princess. At that time the whole Princess Fleet inclusive the older ships were in top shape. Carnival is obviously cutting back a lot on maintenance here. Shame for what was once such an advanced very popular ship.

Brilliant photo! I printed it off & turning it upside down, it is hard to tell that it is the wrong way up, the reflection turning into the ship!

What do you mean when you say that she will be back next year with another company?

I mean there will be a winter cruise just like that Saga Ruby are doing now,but it will be another cruise company and ship doing the winter cruise 2010....Sorry i was was so unclear
