The airport of Malaga is the gateway for the whole Costa del Sol - and there is a lot of tourism there. It is much more difficult to get to Gibraltar.

I am sure Americans are not the target market for these cruises but there is nonstop service from JFK to Málaga on Delta as well and passengers from the US can also connect to Málaga over major European hubs like Frankfurt and London.

I was unaware of the service from JFK, plus the Euro Low-Cost carriers, guess this makes tons of sense, plus I am sure at lower port costs then the other listed ports.

How did you like sailing out of San Juan? I have not had the best experiences on my cruises out of that port.
