I had not realised these were simply Vista clones in a Costa frock, given their 92500grts I assume we are looking at the new Queen Elizabeth "design".

Anyway a sneak can be had at www.luminosa.costacruise.com .

Hmm, Costa, Cunard, Carnival - all the C's plus P&O and HAL of course, well Princess must be next then no doubt Aida. Just hope an Aida cloned Vista never berths bow onto QE.

we discussed this ship before and it's an
crossover between Carnival Legend/Spirit
and some Vista

I agree with Joe you. They have the same layout as the spirit class but even as that may be true each ship has its own style so it compliments the layout.

No need for the negative discussion.

SO SORRY

Sorry I had not seen the previous thread.

From the pics she looked like a Vista, I had thought that Costa said this was an all new design, however Looking again I can see the Spiritness of her.

Mike,
I don't think any apology is necessary. COSTA LUMINOSA is actually a Vista/Spirit Hybrid. The ship shares some attributes with both classes of ships.

Personally I think she is more Spirit, but there is some Vista in her design as well.

FYI Costa has created two dedicated websites for LUMINOSA and PACIFICA.

LUMINOSA

PACIFICA

Enjoy!
