Wow, she looks really good. She has good lines, but I am not sure if whether I like the stern (dining room?) windows. It reminds me of the new Lincoln grill design.

I think the verticle window dividers are going to be painted out in black which will give the lovely stern a very clean elegant look. By far the best looking Carnival built ship.

Good point. The original Vistas had a nice looking stern with tiered decks. Now they look terrible with their added cabins. Eurodam looks like a milk carton.

I agree that Dream is the best looking Carnival ship to date...from the outside. Heaven knows what vomit-producing interiors Farcus has planned.

I really like the Carnival Dream. From the stern all the way to the bow. She looks great on the outside so she will proabably look good on the inside.

From NationMaster.com:

The term "famous last words" has become an expression in the English language for a quote, either fictional or true, that showed a lack of foresight. Often the term is uttered after someone makes a statement that expresses undue optimism, particularly about a task they plan to undertake.

No offence intended! Nice exterior looks don't necessarily translate into good interiors.

A very fine looking vessel by Carnival standards or anyone's! In fact I find her exterior superior to that of the new Celebrity Soltice!

I have to agree. The Carnival Dream is by far the best looking ship in the evolution of the fleets design. The Carnival Splendor also has a nice design, but her interiors are dreadful. Whatever Joe Farcus decides to do with her interior decor may be the deciding factor when passengers book her. No one wants to sail in a ship that has ugly decor. And the Celebrity Equinox looks positively anorexic in comparison.

I wonder why this ship (of all the other Carnival ships) got such an attractive stern. The last decent looking stern they've had was on Tropicale prior to it being rebuilt. Hopefully the passenger decks won't be extended aft but that still wound'nt change the shape of the stern-unless a ducktail or sponsons are needed.
