i guess Mona Lisa did finish her Lord NelsonSeereisen in Bremerhavn last week
anyone knows if she will retain service orwill be her final destination Sweden already??
regardsJoe
will she be laid-up from now untill may??
I did a portion of "Mona Lisa"s last cruise of the season, which ended in Bremerhaven on August 31st. The ship is currently underway to Piraeus where she will be laid up indefinitely, first at an anchorage. A short charter to Louis Cruise Lines in October or November is rumored to be under negotiation.
As stated above, "Mona Lisa" is scheduled to return under Lord Nelson Seereisen from May 1 - August 31, 2009. She will probably also sail for them during the 2010 summer season.

I don't think Louis would want to take on any ship in October or November as this is when many vessels in their fleet are laid up for the winter. As OCEANIC II, she was chartered by LOuis at short notice between 30 April and 28 May 2007 as an immediate replacement for the ill-fated SEA DIAMOND, before OCEAN COUNTESS was available, which they used as RUBY that summer.
Am interested though to know what commitments (if any) MONA LISA has this winter.
Tony
Sorry, the information I posted above is all I have. As I said, the Louis charter is just a rumor. From talking to the bridge officers, it sounded as the outlook for "Mona Lisa"s employment during the winter season is grim.

Perhaps Pullmantuur might use her for a few months again.
she is currently south of the Peloponnese, doing 10 knots.
Best,
Raoul
