She is really going to be an incredible ship!!
I have to say that while Central Park as a concept is great, when seen for real opposed to the "spacious, airy" renderings, this feels like a Royal Promenade w/out a roof and I sense it is going to feel crowded and those cabins do feel close to one another...kind of like downtown apartments that are too close to one another.
I'll be interested in seeing more as the construction progresses.

While it is not a ship I would line up for - I have always enjoyed my RCI experiences and would not say NO if someone asked me to go.
Wow. The ship is beyond what I could have imagined they'd do. And it is a lot closer to the "concept" illustrations Akers did years ago.
This ship truly could anchor off-shore and be as big a hit as any port it could travel too.
I could be wrong, it still looks like there are cabins overlooking the Royal Promenade as well.
As for the dueling "reveals" between F3 and Oasis, I would declare the winner Oasis, on the weight of the innovation along.

I agree. If you look at the following images you will see that the actual size is much smaller than the renderings.
Actual CP:
CP Rendering from RCI:
What's interesting is that the rendering from RCI appears to have been stretched horizontally (original image)
The rising tide bar has changed a lot since the first renderings. It looks like a UFO now.
So where are the pools?

Still impressive but the more I look at it the more the balconies overlooking CP seem not that great (you can almost throw paper planes across the void) but I guess they will still be an improvement over the standard inside cabin with the blank wall behind the curtain.

Hi Carnival guy, I assume from your name that you are a Carnival fan. Are their ships not a bit 'over the top', in terms of decor at least?
Genesis is not designed as ship, it's a floating resort! None of the big three brands are building very 'nautical' ships, they are all mass-market family alternatives to a beach or Disneyland vacation. They are NOT aimed at everyone.
There will always be some smaller traditional ships offering a more traditional cruise experience. There are even some big ones (QM2 etc.) that do.
