Great reviews. The Perla one makes me laugh and want to go. It appears that this was maybe part of an all inclusive tour of Greece as a 'Tour Director' is mentioned? It doesn't say if it was the 3, 4 or 7 night option either. I doubt she is anything to rave over, but surely not as bad as that?

From the PERLA review:

"In every port the crew were busy painting over rust spots on the hull."

I thought that was a good thing!

I like the description of 'Azamara Journey': "If you have sailed Celebrity you would probably describe the ship as a big floating Michaels Club".

From Pam

"I doubt she is anything to rave over, but surely not as bad as that?"

We see her come in when berthed at Barcelona for dis-embarkation from the Azamara Journey on the 16/05/08.

You could her coming a mile off, and as she passed she smelt of diesel, so possibly!!

Regards Clive

My parents are going on the "Orient Queen" at the end of next month, 10days from MArseilles (TGV !!) and then to Italy, the Aegean and Sicily.

I hope they will have a better experience
