Have I missed something? I thought the work was being done in Brest. Pam's link mentioned very short preparation time, was Brest cancelled & the job moved to Hamburg? Hope they get it right as we are due on for the April 29th sail date, just 2 weeks tomorrow! Better pack a few spanners! LOL. Eric

Karsten, I would be glad of any news updates from Germany on the progress of the work to Summit. Obviuosly we hope it will leave in good time to get to Southampton early on 29th. Presumably she will then have to restock the stores, raising the possibility that we will be late leaving & perhaps even missing a port. We do not leave home untill 6am on 29th to get to the ship. If any board members are on end of Hythe pier when she sails tues evening (assuming she is on time) I will be taking your photo as I have a special interest in that having used it extensively in mid 50's. Eric

Eric,

"Celebrity Summit" is halfway down the Elbe river from Hamburg, already, doing 13 knots.

Sadly, her AIS signal does not state her ETA at this time.

Best,

Raoul
