Costa Victoria will receive a new refit in 2008
In the beggining of 2004 Costa Victoria received a major refit with the addition of 246 balcony cabins. As it was not enough for the growing market, she will receive a strecht of about 24 m and will grow to 92000GRT. In addition now she will have more than 500 balcony cabins and new balcony suites, a problem that existed since the last refurb, with a capacity now of 2800 guests. The Samsara Spa will be fitted with large windows and be enlarged either. New lounges will be created in Carmen Deck and Traviata Deck, one of them will be inspired in the Greek Islands, with true ruins and sculptures. All the decor will be renewed, focused exclusively in Mediteranean aspects. The Atrium will now have a 5 floor water-fall with the name of "Potere di Zeus". The Tennis Court will be removed to create more sun spaces for the new guests. A new "Costa Aqua Divertimenti" will be introduced, with water games and sports in the Lido Deck, like trampolins and wave-pools. The refurb will start in the end of the Brazilian season, when she will depart direct to Mitsubishi Yards in Japan. It's expected that she will be ready in the beggining of June.
