One new feature is that 2 of the pools including one of the main outside pools are to be heated.

Would it not be nice to have a little museum featuring the liner Independence on board ?

At first I thought she was going to have a solarium glass roof. This class of ships is designed for tropical climates but Voyager and Navigator seem to be doing pretty well.

Even the Voyager class ships were planned to have a solarium glass roof from the beginning.

nice, but a RCI ship with a musem about rival NCLs ship? i could see a huge court case here...

Let's not forget that there is actually 'another ship' called Independence..... This ship is certainly more prominent than the (former) Independence presently laid up in San Francisco. Beside that, not every ship named Independence is necessarily named after one of these ships.

An INDEPENDENCE museum would undoubtedly seem odd to most modern cruise passengers (who would not know or care about some old ship laid-up in California) but there is precedent for "borrowing" some "heritage" from competitors' past ships without any legal repercussions - I do not think Carnival sued Royal Caribbean about the Olympic Resaturant on MILLENNIUM, or CMA CGM about the Normandie Restaurant on INFINITY
