The QE2 got to Los Angeles,

Has anyone there in LA gone to see her? take pictures if you do. Also is anyone going to that talk on the Queen Mary? I wish I could be there.

We won't see her in LA, but we will see her on Wednesday, when she is in San Francisco.

I've never seen QE2 before, so I'm pretty excited.

I am trying to get out of the office to drive down to the Alang lecture on QM tonight. It is a perfect day for QE2 to be in San Pedro-warm and crystal clear. If we go down, we may drive over to see her depart tonight.

What would be nice...that all 4 QUEENS met this year....Talk about a really neat gathering. It would be a first.

For those in or near San Francisco hoping to catch QM2, I don't know whether you have come across Boatingsf which has Live AIS of the shipping in the Bay. Fun to watch at times, especially when the time-lapse part is speeded up.
