Trivia quiz for our BC members or anyone else for that matter.
Two, currently sailing, cruise ship's names are on the stained glass windows of the British Columbia Legislature in Victoria. One of them is " Queen Elizabeth 11, what is the name of the other?

Queen Mary/Queen Elizabeth (Mary the mother in law/Elizabeth daughter in law, both husbands where King head of state) i now that there where other royals/Queens with the same names.

I have not been in the BC Legislature yet - but I would suggest that if the name reads as above - it is referring to the current reigning monarch...ptherwise it would/ should read Queen Elizabeth 2...I am sure the names are not referring to currently sailing cruise ships.

You're correct, they're not referring to cruise ships, but the cruise ship names are on the windows, Queen Elizabeth 2 and ? A little hint, it's in Latin.

What! No more informed guesses. I may be wrong in saying the window inscription was in Latin. It may be Italian. I believe Rattenbury may have been enamoured of things Italian when he built the pile. Anyway the arts were all mentioned on each window. The one we're looking for is "Musica"
