Oh yes, it must be Eva Herzigova. I did not recognise her with cloths on.
Anyway the lines and superstructure are very impresssive; 'Hello Buyos'.
At Sea Trade Fincantieri had 1 meter scale models of the Concordia and the Conquest side by side.
They are identical under the boat deck, but have completely different general arrangement on the upper decks. If one were a passenger and never saw the outside they would find them totally different.
The Concordia has a 2 deck deep pool courtyard and much sheltered deck space. The same are on the Conquest is open and has stadium deck chair seating.
I surmise the Concordia is for more temperate and sometimes cold Mediterranean service, where the Conquest is year round Caribbean hot weather.

Agreed. CONCORDIA has all the traits of a modern Carnival ship, and of course was designed by Carnival's in-house architect. One improvement is the spa ... much better.
David - the general arrangement is not as different as you are led to believe. Dining rooms, galleys, pools, main showlounge, atrium, cabins, elevators, lido restaurant, and spa are all in the exact same place as the Carnival sisters. The main differences are the lounge arrangement on the main lounge deck, the enlarged spa, and the midship pool being covered.
We will probably see many of these changes incorporated into the next Carnival ship after FREEDOM. I believe CARNIVAL SPLENDOUR? I'm fairly certain the larger spa has already been announced.
My CARNIVAL CONQUEST sailing proved one thing to me .... I don't like this class of ship and I don't care if it flies the Carnival or Costa flag. It was the most crowded and disjointed ship I have ever sailed. In addition, the swimming pools were minuscule. I'm always amazed at how popular these ships are.

I am not a huge Farcus fan myself, but I really like this water-bench thing:Where is it located on the ship? I don't think it is in the lido pool/solarium area, but I might be wrong. I am not so sure about having those gigantic feet hanging over me when I am sitting down below though.

Well Waynaro, all the other vessels of this general class including the other Costas and Carnivals have a straight slanted inwards stern to the water.... with Concordia they added some fin of sorts which to me rounded off the hard squareness from the other vessels.cruiseshipluver
