Looking for info on mal de debarquement. Anyone have and answers on how to get rid of the swaying, bobbing motiion after two years? I don't thing its related to the norovirus.

Anybody ever talked to ship's doc about it or are the cruise lines aware this happens?

It's natural to feel the effects of the sea once you've got on land--that means you had acquired your sea legs. But it normally goes away after a day or so.

If this is something you're feeling for two years, I suggest you talk to your regular doctor--this has nothing to do with being on a ship!

Linerrich is right, R.King, you need to see your GP.

Or get back on a ship as soon as you can, pray for rough seas and -- like the hair of the dog -- see if that cures it! :-)

You may need to see an ear specialist. I have heard of these types of problems and a doctor that specializes in inner ear issues (which effects balance, dizziness etc.). Good luck!!
