Take the Star Ferry from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui and the ferry from North Point to Kowloon City and Kwun Tong,.... You can take pictures of all cruises ships in Hong Kong from these ferries!!!
If you have time, do get out to harbourfront around the casino ships at night to see how crazy flashing are these ships getting into!

Wayne, enjoy your time in Hong Kong.

But Asia Cruises has high turnover on their ships. Asia Star is the 4th ship since they started operation in 1999.
Maybe the A.S. will find herself turning into a private yacht...
The ex-OMAR and OMAR II are both small ships, perhaps they find them too tight for expansion. A ship of the size of Omar III or Neptune with around 250 cabins may get full on an overnight cruise.
When changing to Asia Star they are of course trying to seek something more deluxe. Certainly they are slowly developing away from solely gambling operation, and is doing fly-cruise "packages" from Japan and Korea with HK's own Cathay Pacific Airlines, and also inviting celebrities, like the principal of the University of HK, to certain events and sailings. What's more, they have the pool bar open while at sea , which is not done even on Star Pisces!!
