I would say the average is in the mid-50s. The Western Caribbean is usually a little younger (obvious during spring break). Many other itineraries are much older (such as Alaska or the Baltic). While older cruisers may not be as interested in climbing walls, they are far from senile and it is an insult to proclaim such.
Easycruise attempts to attract a young crowd and only managed the mid forties.
