All great links, especially the aerial shots. I thought the whirlpool/hot tubs which stick over the sides were going to have glass bottoms? They don't appear so in the photo [first link].. but if they do I would not wish to be in one of those balcony cabins directly below.. not sure if I would want to be in then anyway with that protruding overhead? But the rest looks good.

It is great that RCI still uses some curves w/this enlarged Voyager class of ship. The slightly rounded stern and bridgefront makes this massive ship appear more graceful than nearly all newbuilds.

I believe the final fitting out, bearing inspection (in the Azipods), and exterior painting.

Beside the 'usual' inspections she encountered some ice - parts of the hull might have to be repainted.

She is in the dock for changing of a bearing in the center (fixed) pod.

I noticed under lido pool deck and the lido restaurant are rectangular squares (on the painted aqua-green stripe) that look like windows. Does anyone know what exactly is the purpose of that?

Waynaro,

I believe the rectangular openings on the painted stripe are some sort of ventilation ducts. At least that's what they look like up close. Perhaps someone else can confirm this?

I can just imagine what the Genesis class ships will look like. We've seen some preliminary art but it can't be like the real thing once built. Not sure who will build this "monster of the seas".

First, I thought that Freedom of the Seas would be just a bigger version of the Navigator of the Seas. The first pictures I saw, leaving Turku showed that it would be very different, with many details also seen in the rendering of project Genesis.
