I try to take at least a 4-5 day cruise once a year, but cant afford to do more than that. Yet I read on this board and others where others seem to take more than one a year. I realize others have jobs that pay better(like most of them LOL) but I am just wondering, how many cruises a year on average for you all in here?

I hope to take one cruises each year. However, even if I could afford more than one per year, I probably would not, as I fear that the novelty would wear off if I overdose.

I like other forms of travel too, so I may well opt not to cruise ethis year.

During the last years I hardly had the time to take a holiday and I guess the situation will not improve soon

but I have to be on a ship at least once a year!

I do 47 in the last 25 Years.

Holidays in Austria (many), Hungaria (1), Bavaria (1), Russia (1) and Spain (4) are extra.

I now have 35 working Days Holiday, that is 7 Weeks, plus 5 Days because i work 40 Hours an Week (must only 37,5).

Money is no Problem, double Income, no Kids,
only about 40 small exotic Birds and 1 Rottweiler
(Tyson), my most beloved Person.

it is often much cheaper, than a lot of People are thinking.

I never make Plans, what Cruise i want, i wait what is offered for an very good Price and then i buy.

First Choice for me: Absolutely Celebrity.

But only 13 of 47 Cruises are with this Company, much more others.

In the last few years it's been two(2)/ year. However after the just completed cruise(Mille) I feel "Burn Out" . The 14 days was a bit long and the long flights Ouch!!.
My wife still works,I'm retired. The problem is now that the places that we haven't been to are all far away- Far East, Australia, etc. Which equates to the LONG travel. If anything we have not been to Bermuda which is just 3 hours or less to the port of departure. I would like to do some fishing(bone) there any recommendations??

I would like to be on a cruise at least once a year, but on one income (I hope that changes soon), one a year isn't even possible. My last cruise was 2001, and I'm aching to go again, but the money just isn't there. It all goes into the house. At this rate, all I can do is start talking about the cruise we want to take for our 10th anniversary in 2 years, and then hope we can actually do it.

Usually 2, sometimes 3 a year. In nearly 25 years of cruising with HAL the next one on the NEW Noordam will be #46.

I'm a widow, have a good income and that's what I spend my money on. It's what my late husband would have wanted me to do.

Retirement works for me! 2+ 1 land last year, 2+ 2 land year before. Must be slipping this year only one booked but it is a B2B 27 nights. Did try to get wife to go on the bargain currently on offer in UK for april on Diamond Syd-SF, no way she says! Eric

but the ideal number of cruises per year for me is 3 i guess. ia agree with malcolm - too many can make the all thing quite "too much"....i prefer to leave the ship9cruise) with a good taste for more
