Hello, thought I should introduce myself. This is a first for me...two cruises in one week. Saturday-fly do Seattle, Sunday-Board the Sapphire Princess for an overnight cruise to Vancouver. Then Tuesday, board the Oosterdam for a four night cruise back to San Diego. Does that sound like fun?

Welcome SDSail.. that sounds a wonderful way to spend a week.. can't think of anything better to be honest. This coming Saturday? Have a great time and tell us all about it.. will be an interesting comparison between ships.

Lucky you - this sounds really good. I would have been glad to find something like this in Europe - this would have been perfect gift for the birthday of my father who must not fly too far and has not the time for a full cruise right now.

I just got notification of upgrade on the Sapphire...I booked the base class, inside cabin, behind the pantry LOL, and now, four days before the cruise, I have a suite/balcony at the very stern of the ship! I don't believe there will be many people on that one night repositioning cruise. I'll probably be dancing alone....HA!

Well, hopefully, the captain and navigation officer will be on board as well...I don't trust myself with that craft amonst the San Juan islands at night.
