Thanks in advance for any help,Richard.
P.S. My girlfriend does not know this yet and I know she won't find out from the forum, but I'm planning on proposing to her when we visit Rome. Wish me luck. P.P.S. Malcolm, I see you live in Essex too, I trust you'll keep it under yer 'at in case word gets out!
Barcelona is a great place to visit because the port is next to the heart of the city and your ship courtesy bus will take you right in, quite a lot of your sightseeing will be within walking distance.
The one thing I would have to moan about is the price of most products especialy trips, boy do they know how to charge.Try and do some homework on what trips you can do yourself apart from Rome, there is just too much to get round and see without a guide.
The RCI website (American) has great info on all ports of call.
I hope you have a great time and good luck with the proposal, I think rome sould do the trick.
