The Crow's Nest is still a Lounge - they may have changed it some. The only food served up there are the hors'dourves served during the cocktail hour before dinner.
You don't have to worry that the Statendam has not taken on a"holiday camp" atmosphere. They wouldn't have put this ship on an extended cruise to the South Pacific if that was the case.

I've recently photographed the newly-enhanced Statendam and I can wholeheartedly report that she looks spectacular. I've always loved Statendam's classic charm but now her enhancements maintain her as a truly competitive ship. I was truly impressed by her and would book her to Alaska or the Orient in a heartbeat.
