When is she sechedualed back into service after the streach? If she is already back and i havent heard it anyone have pictures of her?

All great photos, she looks so 'awkward' out of water; best get back in soon. I can't help but keep thinking that those back to back tiaras are designed purposely for the Crown.

How did they get her to go farward after they cut her in half? Is she on rollers? Or something else.

she looks real great,.the suspension bridge was integrated pretty well, at first i was a little pessemistic about it...but now u actually see it in the real ship it looks pretty good. jus goes to show, wait untill u see the real thing. renderings dont always do justice!!!!!

Have you noticed that they have started to peel parts of plastic shielding off the glass on the susspension bridge on the top deck. Its not white after all the worry

Look at the latest pictures on page 3 on the above links.

there is an hydraulic system that moves the ship's parts . in this connection we would have to remember how the Song Of Norway and the Nordic Prince were streched : the shipyard was have cut the ship , than to fill the drydock with water and that way the aft section was float in the water and druged to other place than the mid section was installed andthe aft section as well

I think she looks really horrible now - too long and her funnel is completely out of scale.

She doesn't look that horrible. Yes, she is a bit out of porportion, but it could be alot worst if say it was Carnival giving the extension instead of RCI.

Well, it looks like the "green glass" is fairly off than the rest of the ship, or they still need to peel off the protection stuff?

Well i think she looks great. Something different than the ordinary vision class. Some change is pretty good and this change i think is a good one.

To a certain extent I agree. Length-wise she is still OK, as this will be still (the permissible) panamax size, but her funnel is in the wrong place, it should be more forward to make her look more balanced.

I think her funnel has always been a little too small- is the funnel on the Splendour different?

As for the green windows, I think the tape still needs to be removed. It still looks as if there is a green covering over the windows.

Notice she is also missing a lifeboat in the new section.

Hi Everyone,

Well I've always thought that Enchantment and Grandeur both had a very slender and lengthy look to them and NOW Enchantment really takes the cake! A few points to note . . .

* Who else besides myself would have thought that an additional bow thruster would have been added for the extra tonnage? I only still see the two icons and would have thought surely, one more would have been added. I've seen cases before where, even when in doubt, the line has just added an additional for extra maneuverability.

* I really like the funnel of the Legend and Splendour. I've never really cared for the stubby funnel on EN/GR although do slightly prefer those on the VI/RH.

* I absolutely loved hearing her whistle. While I don't find RCI to be my favorite line of ships, I have always found their fleet to have stellar whistle quality. Very robust and commanding. Unfortunately many CCL ships and sister companies will have only one functioning whistle for ships large enough to really need two or three. Just hearing the sound of the whistle on that page reminds me of why I have such a strong passion for ships and cruising!

Thanks to everyone for the pictures and the link. She looks great, the smoke stack is a little too far back, but they always have been on VISION class ship ( okay well most of them ). Love the horn, so much nicer then the CCL ones.
