I'm getting confused now so hope someone can help. According to various sites, it's meant to be in Southampton on the 10th, Le Havre 11th and Rotterdam 12th. It's not mentioned for Cobh arrivals but Southampton VTS and Le Havre's port info mentions the calls but the Princess site say it sails from Copenhagen on the 7th. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks.

On the PRINCESS site teh cruise is no longer shown, because this cruise is running since a few days.

I found This site with the cruise: ... Southampton - Le Havre - Rotterdam - Oslo - Copenhagen.

Port of Copenhagen confirms 15.05.; Oslo port confirms 14.05., but say "from Hamburg" instead of from Rotterdam...

I wanted to see her - perhaps - in Rotterdam. Is the Rotterdam call 12.05.05 confirmed? 09.30 - 19.00? (source: actually only this

Thanks for the links, Karsten. I see on the Princess site they have the same dates for Star Princess but for 2006. So we get Southampton on the 10th May, Le Havre on the 11th, Rotterdam on the 12th next year now. It gets more confusing. I wish they'd make up their minds. I suppose unless someone here knows more than we do, we'll have to wait until Sunday when the shipping movements for the 10th appear on the Southampton VTS site.

Karsten, we both could be in luck. The webcam says 'Punta Delgada bound Southampton'. I found the Copenhagen cruise list last night and it doesn't even mention the ship until the 15th. So it looks like all that with Southamton on the 10th and Rotterdam on the 12th is confirmed but keep an eye on that webcam to be 100% sure. I hope you get to see her.

For anyone who doesn't know, she's now due to arrive in Southampton for 8am which is annoying! I want pics of her passing the QM2 so have to get to the marina at the crack of freezing weather. Oh well. Such is our love of ships!

Anyone else brace that biting wind this morning to see the QM2 and Star Princess arrive in Southampton? I loved it when they greeted each other. Wasn't expecting that in the morning. Even my mum heard it at home and sometimes we don't hear the ships. It was just a shame Ocean Village didn't leave dry dock at 8am after all. Anyone know what went on there and when she left? Also, is it back? There was something that looked like a cruise ship on the Star Princess's webcam as she sailed at 10pm.

I took some pictures of the QM2 in Southampton on May 10 but couldn't get the Star Princess and QM2 together since I was taking the pictures from my Star Princess balcony!

Was awaken by the QM2 and Star Princess greetings.

IIRC, Ocean Village left dry dock before 12 noon and docked near Town Quay. I don't remember if it was still there when we left.

LOL Dave! On the one hand I wish I'd stayed in the warm. But on the other I wouldn't have missed that for anything. That must have been quite a site passing the QM2 so close from your balcony. I did wonder how many people were woken up by their greetings.

I checked the OV webcam the next day and it was by Town Quay then so I presume it stayed overnight.

I'm looking forward to Golden Princess passing QM2 on Sunday afternoon now despite the forecast rain.
