Hi everyone,
My wife and I are going on the Thomson Spirit next week, anyone know if its any good ? like the ship overall and the food etc ??

Hope its better than the Sunbird we went on in January, that was really a "shed" compared to how it used to be.

I'm sorry that you did not enjoy Sunbird. She used to great great reviews. What was wrong exactly?

Malcolm,
It was our 4th cruise on sunbird. This was suncruises last two weeks operating sunbird. They ran out of wine, beer, coffee, ice cream etc etc etc.
There was used tampons in the store rear of our en suite, the food was awfull: eg pizza still frozen , steaks cold, chips burnt etc.
The rubber stair treads out on decks was hanging off, the lifts regularly stopped either just short of or past the opposing floor level, causing people to fall and when reported nothing was done. extremely rude staff and everyone you talk to very unhappy.
My idea of all inclusive is being to have a drink, an icecream etc without having to wait 20 mins between, ie my daughter wanted an ice cream and a coke, they say you cannot have both at once ! have the coke and come back in 20 mins, of course when you do come back they dont even have any ice cream. very sloppy operation, better off out of the cruise market in my opinion.

I did complain, and I was sent a couple of hundred £ coupons to use with Airtours, but since I prefer to cruise and the fact that airtours do not do british hols, I may as well throw them away.
