i wonder if there are any news about this vessel
i cant find any (new , updated) artist renderings
even not in the cunard site
anybody have an idea?

Good one Malcolm!

Nothing new about QVIC, the last time anything was announced was that Cunard would make her design more ocean liner like, of course we don’t know what their definition of an ocean liner is. Maybe Cunard/Carnival has become a bit more reluctant to post any news about the QVIC, after the constant switching of the initial Vista hull that would have been the QVIC.

If Cunard exoects to get the Queen Victoria sometime in 2007, they will have to soon finalize the design in order to start cutting steel by late 2005 or early 2006 (trusting a 16-18 month actual construction period) not to mention pre-ordering some of the modules. I would expect some more information and start of the hype campaign sometime this Summer or the latest in the Fall.
